Major Projects provides bespoke high quality lifts to various high profile clients throughout the UK and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tester or a repair engineer/lift installer looking to further their career to join our team.
You will work from home and travel to sites predominantly in and around London and the South East of England but may need to travel UK wide to suit the needs of the business.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will provide independent testing and commissioning support to the team. You will discharge the responsibilities stated in statutory legislation and contractual documentation, while also providing independent technical advice to the management and site teams.
We are looking for someone who will deliver the highest levels of customer service, with pro-active communication being the key element when managing customer expectations. You will be expected to set high standards for those working with you and ensure that these are achieved at all times. Spending the majority of your time in the field supporting and monitoring installation engineers, your primary role will be to test and commission new lifts to meet the highest levels of service and standards our clients expect.
You will be expected to participate in the development and implementation of the company’s people development training plans and to assist the sales teams wherever necessary and to recognise sales opportunities and communicate these to our sales teams effectively
