Overview

We have a Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Consultant to work with our Lift Services Team in Bristol.  This is a Permanent position with a competitive salary plus company benefits.

 

The successful person will be assisting in ensuring the safe and continuous use of lifts, lifting equipment and Stairlifts in the efficient movement of people and goods, through the provision of a sales service offering planned maintenance contracts, legislative advice, lift repairs and modernisation programmes.

 

Experience in the Lifts industry is essential, along with a proven sales ability and project engineering experience. 

 

In this customer-focussed role you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, supported by the confidence to liaise effectively at all levels.  Ideal candidates will be computer literate and previous experience in the use of Window applications will be essential.  In addition, you will need excellent organisational ability and a flexible approach in order to meet the demands of the job. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Service Provision:

  • Identification of sales and marketing opportunities,
  • Completion of sales site visits
  • Obtain orders
  • Preparation of reports
  • Dealing with customer complaints
  • Management of Key Accounts
  • Completion of customer questionnaires

Support Services:

  • Provision of sales administration systems
  • Production and maintenance of a repair price database.
  • Review of new contracts
  • Assistance to National Contracts Department

Strategic and General Management:

  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and proper manner both for self and for the well-being of others.
  • Regularly review the provision of the above services to ensure they satisfy client and customer needs in respect of type, quality and delivery, and ensure a high standard of customer care.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness, including: the development and maintenance of effective business planning, financial and administrative systems in respect of strategic/general management; the cost effective delivery of products/services involving the determination of efficient business systems (work methods/processes, buildings, plant and equipment) and the maintenance of quality assurance systems.
  • Ensure organisational effectiveness, including: the identification of manpower needs; recruitment and selection of new appointments; identification of training and development needs for self and colleagues; identification and provision of appropriate training and education for colleagues in line with business requirements; creation of a context which motivates colleagues and ensures good industrial/human relations are maintained and ensuring the welfare needs of colleagues are met.
