An opportunity has arisen to join our Mansfield Branch, covering the Hull/Doncaster area

 

Working throughout the Hull/Doncaster area, the successful applicant will be responsible for minor repair and maintenance of the full range of lifts 

 

We are looking for someone who has an NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent (J Modules) with 3+ year’s experience

 

The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving (a full driving license will be required) and working on their own with minimum supervision. They must have good customer service skills as you will be dealing with different personalities so must be respectful at all times. They will need to be flexible in their working hours and one week in four is on call out duty. They will need to have some computer knowledge as we work a remote engineering system, where all jobs are on a mobile worksheet application on a tablet

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • You will work throughout the Branch area.
  • Attend maintenance and call out visits on lifts
  • Carry out minor repair work on all products mentioned
  • Participate in our 24 hr call out rota, currently one week in four
  • You will be expected to manage your own service route with the minimum supervision
  • Carry out responsibilities in a safe and proper manner both for self and for the well-being of others.
  • Ensure a high standard of quality, delivery of service, and customer care is maintained.
  • Cooperate in all matters of health, safety & environment and productive working.

 

Person Specification:

  • Ideally be qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent (J Modules)
  • 3+ year’s experience
  • Preferably have experience in the maintenance/call out on all types and manufactures equipment.
  • Experience of Electrical Engineering in lifts
  • Some computer knowledge is an advantage as you will be required to use the Remote Engineering System
  • Good customer service skills are essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable working on their own, managing their own time
  • Comfortable driving in between jobs
  • Must have a full driving license

 The successful candidate will have a DBS check completed on them
