An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Homelift Installation Mate (Assistant) to be part of our growing Homelift product team.


Working throughout the  North of England , the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the installation of through-floor lifts, step and platform lifting products.


Ideal candidate will be located in the North West of England Cheshire Manchester St Helens Bolton Burnley Oldham Rochdale and surrounding areas and have a basic engineering background. Also suit car mechanic Experience in similar lift products or trades such as joinery would be an advantage.


You must have a smart appearance, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have the ability to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship, whilst working with a minimum of supervision.


A valid full driving licence will always be essential to the role. Our culture of continuous improvement will ensure that you have every opportunity for further training and development.

    an important member of this Team
  • Ensure you are aware of your scheduled work and loading / unloading arrangements.
  • You will deliver an exceptional level of customer service. As a minimum, we
    will meet our contractual obligations as a high quality service provider.
  • Ensure during installation and handover the end user remains our priority
  • Ensure paperwork completed correctly and on time
  • Ensure company vehicle is serviced at required intervals and defects rectified

Person Specification:

  • Flexible approach to an ever changing schedule of work
  • Defining and applying a consistent approach to communication
  • Personal appearance. Remember as you are customer facing you are the face of Stannah
  • be used to working as part of a Team and have the ability to be positive
  • Full driving license
  • Have excellent time keeping
  • Have awareness of electrical safety
  • Have previous mechanical experience
  • Have experience in the use of power tools and hand tools
  • Have a basic engineering background
  • Experience in similar lift products or trades such as joinery would be an advantage.
