Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a tenacious, focused and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our team at Andover.

 

Our Sales Advisors are the first point of contact for customers responding to our advertisements, therefore excellent communication skills will be essential. You will be responsible for developing the enquiry through to accurately recording of customer details, securing and scheduling sales appointments and answering correspondence.  You will also maintain relationships through outbound calls and provide the highest standard of customer service.

 

The Telecentre is open Monday to Thursday from 08:00am to 20:00pm Friday 08:00am to 19:00 and we currently cover these hours on a rota basis. We currently work 3 weekend days including Saturdays 10:00am to 15:00pm and Sundays 11:00am to 14:00pm in every 6 weeks (approximately) on a rota basis.  

 

The working hours for this role are: Mon, Tues: 08:45am - 17:15pm, Wed, Thurs: 08:45am - 17:00pm  and Friday: 08:48am - 16:00pm

 

Suitable candidates will have a pleasant, professional telephone manner and have a natural ability to empathise with our customers. Working within our friendly but competitive team, you will focus on gaining customer commitment through all contact media and campaigns whilst encouraged to prioritise your workload in order to meet your personal targets.  Previous experience in a similar role and a good knowledge of the UK geography would be desirable, although full training can be provided to the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities

  • To establish communication with customers who have submitted enquiries via the internet, email and telephone with a view to confirming appointments for our Field Sales team
  • To work closely with other members of the Sales team and with the Telecentre Manager
  • Communicating with potential customers via various routes of advertising, building rapport and converting them into qualified appointments
  • Maintaining logistical efficiency of Field sales resources by effective route planning
  • Recording key information gathered from telephone conversations and inputting accurate data for the Field Sales Team
  • To work within the boundaries of company policies and directives
  • To remain flexible to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Develop an understanding of and a personal commitment to the Values of Stannah
  • Responding to inbound customer enquiries following a home visit by a Sales Consultant regarding Stannah products
  • To proactively contact customers post appointment to advance the enquiry along with Stannah Sales process
  • To act as a link between the office and the direct team, debriefing and capturing key information after every appointment to facilitate ongoing customer communication
  • To ensure that all outstanding updates are followed up and all systems are accurately updated
  • To maintain accurate customer information on relevant systems
  • To support Sales Consultants in order to maximise sales
  • To answer enquiries in a polite and professional manner and to establish empathy with all customers, ensuring they feel valued
  • To be aware at all times that you are representing Stannah within your discussions and negotiations and be cognisant of the responsibility that this carries
  • To maintain and update your knowledge on Stannah products and applications
  • Team working to help those less experienced, sharing best practice, liberating potential to self and others to be empowered/autonomous in the day to day role
  • To maintain strict confidentiality at all times
