  • Overview

    We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to provide day to day administration support to the 260 Rail Factory at Livingstone Road, Andover. The role will involve working  9am – 3pm Monday to Thursday 15 min break paid and 9 Am 12.00 Friday- it will require being on site 5 days a week.

     

     This is a varied, stand alone role reporting to the Production Manager to support all aspects of administration from maintaining systems, answering emails, producing reports, logging production data and ordering stationary.

     

    The ideal candidate will have strong administration skills through experience of working in a similar role. PC skills are essential as is the ability to work on own initiative with a flexible approach.  NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration is desirable but not essential.   

     

    Responsibilities

    1. Maintain and update the time and attendance system (T&A), checking attendance, overtime and running lateness reports.
    2. Maintain and update the Ofbiz by inputting holidays and sickness and processing purchase orders/Invoices
    3. Maintain and update the system, carrying out a weekly Stock check, Misc issues, booking in stock and monthly PI Count to ensure the factory maintains a 100% standard
    4. Running regular weekly reports 
    5. Daily logging of timesheets, to show the production metres which the factory has built and the hours taken to produce metres. 
    6. Printing the drawings from the daily Issues log and preparing them for production
    7. Updating a log of work within the factory to enable production planning by the Area Managers. Maintain a spreadsheet after printing drawings, by paint date and rail length.
    8. General administration support including answering emails, phone calls, answering calls and taking messages, keeping notice boards up to date and tidy and ensuring skips are kept empty.
    9. Ordering of stationery and safety work wear as and when required
    10. Inputting spends into the departments Budget Sheet

    This list is not exhaustive and the jobholder will be expected to undertake any duties within their capacity to meet the needs of the business and/or the 260 function.

    Qualifications

    NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration is desirable but not essential.
