    An opportunity has arisen within our 260 Rail manufacturing team at Livingstone Road.


    Ideally, candidates will be fully conversant with MIG welding procedures and will be prepared to perform various functions within a cellular environment. In addition you should have proven ability of working successfully as part of a team and alone. Working to detailed technical drawings, you will be expected to produce work of a consistently high quality and to contribute to our culture of continuous improvement.


    Proven knowledge of the processes involved in this role is desirable, although further training may be considered for the right candidate.


    1. Delivery of product to downstream customer that meets QCD requirements and does so within established safety perimeters within a right first time ethic.
    2. Utilise cross skilling to ensure operational flexibility to respond to changing to business needs / new opportunities.   
    3. Work to current best practice.
    4. Work flexibly within a team to ensure the required QCD are achieved.
    5. Work to demonstrated timings and seek to improve.
    6. Achieve required quality standards.
    7. Participate in new product introduction builds and facilities, as appropriate.
    8. Provide active support for the achievement of out of box.
    9. Proactively participate in continuous improvement.

          10. Actively seek opportunities to improve                 processes and services


    Skills required:

    1. Fabricate and weld company product to the required specifications.
    2. Reading and interpret product drawings.
    3. MIG Welding experience/Qualifications
