    An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Installation Engineer to join Stannah Lift Home Installation and to be part of a growing Homelift product team. Based in the West Midlands, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Installation of through-floor, step and platform lifting products.

     

    Some training and development of existing engineers will also be required as our aim is to grow this part of our business,therefore you must be an experienced lift engineer.

    Responsibilities

    Ideal candidates will have comprehensive product knowledge and engineering background with the ability to carry out installations and commissioning of through floor, step and platform lifts. The candidate will also be experienced with carrying out detailed faultfinding on though floor domestic lifts and platform lifts

     

    You must have a smart appearance, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and have the ability to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship, whilst working with a minimum of supervision. 

     

    Although based in the West Midlands, flexibility is important, as this role may require working throughout the England and Wales, a vehicle is provided and travel is paid Door 2 Door- NO ON CALL 

    Qualifications

    NVQ 2 or above in Platform Lifts is essential, along with a full driving license

     

    In addition, you will achieve suitable qualifications and training to demonstrate your competence in

     

    • Product manufacturers approved installers course on relevant products
    • IOSH Working Safely
    • Asbestos Awareness.
    • N.V.Q. at appropriate level
