In 1867 Joseph Stannah first opened his doors for business in Bankside, London. Now 150 years later, we are still a British family owned and run business, managed by Joseph’s great, great grandchildren: Patrick, Jon, Nick and Alistair.

Based in Andover, our engineering team go in to meticulous detail to ensure every aspect of our Stairlifts are scrutinised, perfected and adheres to regulations from around the world. We take our commitment to manufacturing standards very seriously and have worked with standards agencies to help develop many of today’s guidelines.

Stannah currently export Stairlifts to over 40 countries worldwide. This year’s annual turnover is expected to be over 150 million pounds.
