    An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Sales Consultant to join our team at the Christchurch Branch.


    Operating throughout the Christchurch service area, you will be responsible for expanding our portfolio for maintenance contracts for all types of vertical lifts.


    Although a percentage of your leads will be by appointment, you will enhance our business by building new relationships and prospecting for opportunities.  Proven sales ability will be essential, coupled with the ability to achieve targets and meet specific deadlines.   Your previous sales experience must be supported by exceptional organisational and communication skills.


    An excellent benefits package will include the provision of a Company vehicle and a valid driving licence will always be essential to the role. 


    • To seek out, identify and target prospective new customers, working to win them onto contract
    • Liaise with existing customers approaching the end of their contract term, to secure onto a renewed contract
    • Convert customers nearing the end of their warranty period onto contract
    • Identify and maintain close working relationships with key, high value contracts to ensure satisfaction
    • Actively become involved with customers that are indicating dissatisfaction, liaising as appropriate (internally and externally) to ensure a prompt resolution is found
    • Arrange and conduct site surveys and meetings
    • Complete tender documents to a high presentation standard
    • Provide accurate and timely proposals to customers with organised approach to regular follow up
    • Effective liaison with all stakeholders, both internal and external
    • Provide regular reports and updates to Branch Manager on activity and progress of the above
    • Carry out responsibilities in a safe and proper manner both for self and for the well-being of others.
    • Ensure a high standard of quality, delivery of service, and customer care is maintained
    • Demonstration of ingenuity, flexibility and a passion to seek out all possibilities in order to succeed



    • Professional or technical qualifications required.
    • Degree or equivalent, with postgraduate business qualification desirable.
    • Experience in Sales or Business Development
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrable understanding of excellent customer service
    • Computer knowledge, particularly of MS Office for reporting, liaising and sending customer proposals
    • Knowledge of lifts is advantageous
